Pursuing a healthy mind, body, and spirit is a life-long journey. This journey allows you to strive from where you are to who you want to become. Every day we are becoming. What you do today will affect you tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Your mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected and constantly affecting each other. Balancing all three is essential for health, joy, and contentment in life. What’s as vitally important as creating a balance of all three is being vigilant in protecting that balance. An imbalance in one area can negatively affect the other two areas. If your mental and spiritual well-being is out of balance, your physical health will be affected by depleted motivation, low satisfaction, and lack of self-worth. Likewise, if your physical health is below par, your mind and/or spirit can be robbed of their vibrancy and potency. Your emotions and conditions within your body has the capability to cause change in blood pressure and hormone levels; can cause headaches, insomnia, digestive problems, skin problems; and a slew of other ailments. As you gain a better understanding of how the mind, body, and spirit are designed to work together this will enable you to live a more purposeful life.

A keen mind keeps you focused and engaged. Some aspects of life are demanding at times so it’s crucial to be aware of your mental state.


A physically fit and nourished body keeps you agile. Keep to a minimum the intake of unhealthy food and drinks. Commit to an exercise routine throughout the week.


A flourishing spirit keeps you fulfilled. Spend time with God. For it’s the Word of God that feeds and strengthens the spirit man.
